“You can reach out and touch the people, you can actually hear what they’re saying back to you,” he says, describing the experience. “You can see the expressions on their face when you do certain things. That’s definitely a pleasure to see and to see them singing your songs, even from the time I brought the girl on stage and she was shaking like a leaf.”
“A funny thing, I actually forgot a part of the song because I was making sure she was OK,” he says, laughing about the moment. “I said, Are you OK, baby? Those are moments that I’ll never forget.”
